ABOUT

Kerrie Waltz was raised in Auburn, California. Nature has always been a large influence on her work, especially during her high school years when she first began to think of her art in a career setting. During this time, she received multiple awards at her county’s fair, along with selling her work for charities. 

Now, Kerrie has graduated from Sierra College in Rocklin with a Certificate in Applied Arts and Design and is currently attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco to expand her knowledge and skills to create production-quality pieces. With an AA in Visual Development under her belt, she is currently pursuing a BFA in the same major. She has always had a knack for drawing fantasy and mythological subjects, and prides herself on being able to conceptualize such creatures. Hoping to learn and grow with her career, she plans to create a webcomic in the near future that features her fantastical creatures and worlds.

Looking towards the future, she hopes to intrigue and inspire others with her work as well as help possible companies create something unique, becoming a visual artist for a plethora of jobs. She hopes to learn from her colleagues and gain useful advice from advisers in her field. Kerrie has accomplished quite a bit so far, however she has much to discover as her career continues to flourish.
